Interval-valued Data Analysis: A Review
Abstract
Interval-valued data, a type of symbolic data, is given as an interval in which the observation object is not a single value. The analysis and study of Interval-valued Data are still in development and many breakthroughs have occurred only in the early twenty-first century or even in our current decade, leaving still many stones unturned and many similar methods to study and work with. This paper presents a review of the most important methods used to analyze Interval-valued Data to provide summary insights and estimation.
